Hello there,

As some of you already know, we have a Patreon and Subscribestar up and running at the moment. We have been trying out different ways of approaching something like that. We came to the realisation that it might be practical to have a set schedule and plan for upcoming works and all that, but it is no fun though.. the pressure of putting that on oneself was rather unproductive than fruitful. So we are going to do it easy and simple to max out productivity and lower unnecessary work like managing when and where to post what and how and so on. So the priority is to lower the amount of actual daily work from managing, scheduling and other things, to actually working on the world itself. Because that is the most enjoyable. The sketching, drawing, writing, discussing, debating, building and shaping of the Capitoline Ranch is what makes this fun to work on and that’s what we will be focusing on.

Patreon and Subscribestar will be a solely optional way of generating funding for our beloved little world. Just like keeping our commissions open for little ideas within. It is truly a lot of fun coming up with the characters, working on the world itself, the buildings, the places and meanings of everything. It is one of the most entertaining talking points between me and my mate and we have so many things already laid out and ready to show. We wish we could already have the Ranch fully rendered... best would be in 3D, because that is our goal. That’s why Blender is on the table.

This whole adventure of figuring things out and building everything up is what we want you all to witness and enjoy. Putting it behind a paywall might be profitable, but that would only apply if the actual content was already known enough to bring people to subscribe to it. So we decided to just make everything as easy as possible and build the world up first. We are doing it regardless of generating an income from it, because it is utterly satisfying to see the results of our work and ideas when we post them. Reading the comments and showing them to each other is a bliss.
It was a mess at the beginning, we just had a lot of comics with random characters and random ideas but now that we connected it to one world, it all make sense… everyday it feels so much better going to sleep knowing we worked on something on our little Ranch.

So from now on, this is how we will be doing things:
We will have 2 categories of content. “Behind The Scenes” and “Finished”.
- “Behind The Scenes” is split in 2 outputs: A Telegram Channel (visual things) and a Discord Server (talking and writing things).
- The “Finished” content will be everything on: e621, Furaffinity, Inkbunny and Twitter.


1. “Behind The Scenes”
The Telegram Channel will simply be posting images, files and everything else that cannot be shared on Discord. It is mostly for the ones that simply want to lurk and see the progress without interaction. It will be mostly sketches, drawings, files, concepts, layouts, map updates and all that. Anything visual so to say.

The Discord Server will be a more interactive place, hopefully.
It will barely have any nsfw visual content on it since no one but me and my mate can post any sort of files (to make sure no one posts any nsfw). Anything we post will be either censored or cropped (since Discord is gay like that). Discord is also not the go-to place for the drawings themselves. That will be Telegram for every visual content and anything in “Finished” for all the… well.. finished stuff.

2. “Finished”
So basically everything that is ready to show will be uploaded to those sites. That will mostly be sketches and drawings that are finished. We have that separation because we do not want to put every little rough sketch, concept, map update or info out there like that. We also change things up and most of everything is still a work in progress. That would be cluttered and just bring confusion. Most of those sites don’t give a lot of organisation when it comes to that. We also do not want to spam everything that is considered more unfinished on those sites. Further down the line, we want to have a website with everything organized. That’s future talk though, so we’ll keep it simple and only upload the finished works mainly on the following sites: e621, Furaffinity, Inkbunny and twitter. We got more, see links down below.

On the subject of Donations and Commissions;
We already got some great support through Furaffinity’s donating system and commissions involving our characters and the Ranch. We do not plan to open for commissions anytime soon but asking never hurts. Especially if it’s something simple like a coloured sketch. :3 If you wish to help and support us, feel free to ask us for a commission involving your character and one of ours. …stream it. Yes, we thought about this one too. Just for fun. We might not be able to do it right away because setting everything up for it might take some time. I was able to get my Ipad screen to show on my windows laptop through an app a while ago but I will have to go back into it. ~

Overall it has and will continue to be an interesting endeavour. :3
