Notable achievements:

First TV Appearance

2000: Worked as an animator assistant for Juan de Graaf for 'De Bijbelse Beesten'. Granted, the cartoon was questionable in both content and quality, but I learned a lot from that project.

Biggest VJ Concert

2002: Together with VJ ToTo in Zeewolde in a big open-air house-fest, we had the deep-tent which had a capacity of 500 people, the attendance of the entire happening was somewhere around the 5000.

Most played TV-Commercial

2003: Finding Nemo, this was Buena Vista's biggest campaigns. Of the commercials I was in charge of all the 3D animation (Packshots, moving 3D letters, enhancing effects such as sparklies). There were 128 different versions for the Benelux, ranging from 10 seconds up to 1 minute and 45 seconds(!) which was aired during the finale of Idols.

Best DVD Production

2004: Simone Kleinsma Sings Doris Day. I was responsible for the fully 3D songbook like menu and the intro animations. Reviews were very positive all over, and it reached the national top 5 of DVD sales.

Best TV-Commercial

2006: The Pink Panther DVD Box, Sony December spot. I was in charge of all the 3D graphics. This commercial is 100% CGI work and is still used in the Studio Hilversum portfolio till this day.

Conclusion:

I think I've done well in the past 10 years, but this is just the beginning. I want to continue and work harder to become better at what I do. This year my first Nintendo DS, Wii and PC game will be released. I do not intend to stop. I do want to skip years like 2006, where I barely drew anything. This year I have produced more artwork already than in my less productive years, and we are only 22 days into the year!
