Detailed Sketch commission for Squarezer0 on DA of his very interesting werewolf character, Zeke. Square was wonderful to work with.

Initially his torso was longer but the commissioner requested it be shortened. I personally like it longer to better match the legs, but at least this way it sorta complements his character. I've started to draw my lycanthropes with limbs more akin to their human forms (except for the arms and feet, the legs don't change length) which means I've had to change the shape of their back and rotate their hips so it looks more natural for them to be on all fours but are still able to walk upright. The torso also looks longer because I've moved the shoulders up a bit further. Unfortunately, I don't think I've been pulling it off that well if people are saying that the torso looks too long. >.< Clearly I need to work on the anatomy a bit more; my aim is to make it unsettling, wolf-like but still echoing their primate origins.
