Please full view! For some reason Weasyl's compression (??) makes this look REALLY dark.
An early Werewolf Wednesday pic! I picked at this SO MUCH, but I'm reasonably happy with it now. I have to settle on the fact that this guy is depicted in a much more exaggerated way than how I usually draw my werewolves and that's because I was going for more horrific impact. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

I know I've commented on this elsewhere, but I love the eye reflection on this one. Also the little details like the scar on the nose and the chips in the teeth are a nice touch.
As for the compression, I've run into the same problem before and it's a major point of annoyance. IIRC you mentioned you use SAI...the png export doesn't always save the gamma properly. GIMP has an explicit option to do this when you export a png...so if you re-export from GIMP and select this option, it may solve the issue.

And I'm not sure if it's my settings or just Weasyl. I only have this issue on here and its only in non-fullview mode. If you click on the image and allow it to load, you can see it as it was meant to be displayed just fine.
