Miscreants

Tashamon

A selection of recent demon sketches. The group above were on the theme of change, so I used animals that undergo metamorphosis like toads and butterflies as part of their design. From left to right, top to bottom:

A butterfly demon. Curses anyone who thinks they are more beautiful than him, and is willing to improve someone’s looks, for a price. This is usually in exchange for a severe reduction in the life expectancy of the party involved in forming a contract with him. A person can be made exceptionally beautiful, but they will live for mere weeks, a fleeting existence such as that of a butterfly.
A toad demon. Often changes his appearance into that of a beautiful young man or woman to woo unsuspecting humans. To the horror of many, he changes back with a kiss. He enjoys interacting with people and travels between towns and cities using many different guises.
The frog children. Seen playing in forests and abandoned towns, they are harmless unless threatened. They will usually shy away from adults and sometimes play tricks such as turning a room(and all of the furniture inside) upside-down for a small period of time. If threatened, they will turn whatever frightened them into something harmless, like a rabbit, for example. this effect wears off in a day for humans, up to a week for animals such as dogs.
A small dragonfly demon. These are messengers, secretive and covert. A network of numerous small insectoid demons act as an efficient communications system across the world. Sightings are few as they are quick and avoid people wherever possible.
Dandelion puffs. Small primitive demons. They have little power alone, but when three or more gather, they have the ability to teleport people and objects over large distances. Teleportation seems to be highly random, and people have been known to be teleported beneath ground, or over large ravines, plummeting to their death.
