Amanda Dane and her best friend, possibly maybe more than just a friend, James Dixon were ordinary secondary school students. Then one day James went missing. The police searched but never found him, they presumed him dead, presumed it was suicide and moved on. Amanda didn't. Eight months later she hears tapping at her window and goes out to see James standing there looking half dead but alive. Definitely alive. He kisses her before he passes out.

I forgot the colours again but since this was supposed to take place in late evening I decided to play around with lighting to cover it up...
