Inspired by :iconCervelet: putting up a little comic on their Patreon page; So you want to go camping. Featuring handy tips for newly minted taurs going out to enjoy the outdoors.

While it's handy to cover the basics of things you need when you go out there; a big enough tent, large enough sleeping accomidations and enough food and water... there are also some things you need to look out for once you get there.

Namely the wildlife.

Once you find a nice secluded place to set up camp, make sure you take a good look around for tracks and marks first. While a commercial campsite will make sure there's no dangerous critters around, if you go out and strike out for yourself, chances are you're not the only ones who think this is a nice spot.
Don't set up camp on or adjacent to trails. Don't set up camp on top of a den... If you do, you might be in for some angry surprises.

Taross here is graciously demonstrating one of the dangers of setting up camp too close to or on a den or trail. Angry skunks thankfully first make a grand display of their ire before they even attempt to spray you. So when they're stomping and hissing -or in case of the spotted variety making a threat display handstand, run.

If you don't, well... I think Mythbusters still has a good recipe to help clean out skunkspray that doesn't involve a bath of tomatoes.
