The statue itself looked pretty well crafted but it was that gemstone that really caught his attention. Even in the dark park, the gem still shimmered as if it was begging to be seen. The man moved closer and began to inspect the ruby. It was then that the gem exploded with brightness right in front of his face. A red glow surrounded his body and began to work its magic. The light changed his brown eye color into emerald green. His canines extended out into fearsome fangs. His muscles began to grow in size. And his ears turned pointy But the strangest thing was the excessive hair that started growing on his arm and face. It had different colors than his natural hair color but continued to crawl all over his face and arms. Then it came to him, it was actually fur!...
