I promise my next submissions will not be DRoP related lmao I know I know, obviously I am much a Pern RPer. Well this jewel is my pride and joy. There are many types of Pern forums, many are canon (following the series to the letter), some are semi-canon (give it a bit of a twist) and some are pure non-canon (just having fun with the concept of the series as a base). On one such non-canon forum I had a character who no only Impressed from the Stands, but she became a HAD (Hear all Dragons). The Dragon to pick her was Anatath, and as you can tell if you are a Pern fan she is not at all one of the traditional colors. No she is a gold mutation. The dark coloring is actually a shade of "gold" so dark to look black with a clouding of gold on her wings, and gold color markings. Yet the interesting thing about Anatath is that she ranges in the size of the Browns, is female, and a very different color than the rest, but the sheen upon her hide is like that of a rainbow obsidian stone. I adore Anatath to death and a very close friend was the one who gave her her design ^ ^
