As Viktor is to Fantasyland™, Gauss is to The City on the Edge of Tomorrow™. Both are biologically inspired sophont canine combat devices with impressive eyebrows that were eventually re-marketed as companion creatures. Both were...quite influenced by Digimon and the Megaman franchises.

The most significant changed required to make this a practical toy is smoothing out the shoulders. While it's possible to get that shape (as shown by the anthro lion and tiger made by Descartes), its mechanical soundness under pressure is questionable. You want to avoid sharp negative curves in what amounts to a funny-shaped pressure vessel. Other changes will be a bit less significant, generally just shading tweaks and the removal of the red printing on the arm and leg rings.

Gauss making it to vinyl (or fabric) is dependent on me solving the problems with the kronosaurus raft and the manufacturer being able to obtain a batch of suitable transparent purple vinyl. I wouldn't expect to see them before next spring, even if my current situation clears up more rapidly than expected.
