Because the chonky sabercat with glowing eyes and chrome fangs just seemed to resonate well, plus I want someone who can do the whole cyberpunk thing more effectively than Tankaa (incapable of violence) and Ori (intrinsically law-abiding). Vumpalouska was right, they made more sense as a bodyguard or legbreaker than a technician.

I decided to return to the less-human shape, it's more popular with audiences and more fun from a suiting perspective (to hell with sitting down). They're still big but a bit more practically proportioned than the first iteration. The mane just didn't work, so it's back to the mohawk.
