Lil Doodle by Talbotlynx

Lil Doodle

Talbotlynx

Was slow at work last night. Slow enough that I pumped out a few pages of one to five minute doodles. Ballpoint pen on cleanroom paper.

Decided to get back to my roots recently with drawing and it seems to be helping in some ways. I'm having an easier time stepping away from realistic tones and into a more cartoony look and proportioning. I learned to draw by becoming a human xerox as a kid. Comics and certain cartoons were what I would draw over and over. Don Bluth, and later on, Bruce Timm and Osamu Tezuka were the best teachers I had moving through my teen years using that process. Wish I could have met them. lol

I promised myself I'd throw more of my loose doodles up and this is the start of that.
