There's actually a story behind this one. It's from a dream I had once. What's happening is ::

The wolf in this images is from a race called Lumenira. They are the ethereal beings who created the moon and stars. Man are directed by them and seek their wisdom in hard times, looking to the star signs they created as a guide.

When a Lumenira is in the mortal world, it takes the form of a fluffy wolf with eyes that shine like starlight. A lantern is tied around their neck to keep their immortal powers safe on their journey. This lantern is the only way to return to their home among the stars.

Once, however, there was a Lumenira who was tired of living only to help man. He led an uprising to defeat the leaders of the starmakers, causing a war that lasted a hundred years. Yet in the end, his effort was for not and the unruly Lumenira was overcome.

As a punishment, he was stripped of his lantern and trapped upon Earth where he would live—and die—as a normal wolf would, forced to live in a world dominated by the very entities he hated the most.

This is my version of the night he was outcasted from the stars.
