I started my first DnD campaign! We went dungeon crawling straight off the bat and it got intense! It was definitely fun as well! Learning the basics and such! 🐉
This is my character Daaniki, a Dragonborn of Silver Dragon lineage, Sorceress and also Blind.
This was caused by a demonic possession that failed so the evil spirit is just trapped in her eyes, whispering terrible things over time.
She has heat sense though (like infrared, though that means she can't see undead, which was our first monster encounter, argh 😅). A fellow player also has a wood elf druid as her guide, which was so sweet, so they travel together.
I look forward to a very entertaining campaign with lots of learning curves and dice rolling!

Very neat!
My first DnD character was a blind serval girl who was an archer. She used her ears to pinpoint locations for combat-related things! Later on I decided this was a big mistake for a first character, so I talked to the DM about getting her eyes enchanted so she could see... over a long period of time with negative effects, etc.
But it sounds like Daaniki should be just fine with heat sense! Have fun in the campaign!
