Spyro and the 7D x-over: Pizza Delivery

It was evening at the Jollywood castle, The Queen by the name of Queen Delightful decided to a bake sale to raise money for a charity event. Queen Delightful wears a red and pink dress with golden cuffs at the sleeves, a golden belt, and ruffles at the top colored with two shades of light pink. Her hair is blonde and she wears red lipstick and blue diamond shaped earrings. Depending on the episode, she wears either red dress shoes or pink and white sneakers, but they're not shown most of the time because of her long dress. Queen Delightful's crown doubles as a perch for her parrot Squire Peckington and it can also flash red and yellow lights (in "Mirror, Mirror", "Buckets" and "The Rock of Sages" her crown flashes red and blue lights).

She also has Lord Starchbottom, who is her assistant. Queen Delightful also hired a purple dragon named Spyro along with seven dwarves. The first one was Doc, who is the leader of the 7D. Doc wears a tall green and turquoise hat, which is striped and houses many gadgets inside. He also has a big bushy eyebrows and a beard, which are both colored platinum blonde. He wears a small red bow tie, a bright blue shirt with turquoise suspenders, short, green pants and red circular glasses.

The second dwarf was named Dopey, the one who can't talk. Dopey wears an over-sized light blue sweater with a flower pinned to it, purple pants, and magenta shoes. His hat is red with light blue, turquoise, and yellow polka dots and a red puff at its top. Dopey's hair is colored burgundy-brown. He also has a set of freckles on each side of his face.

The third dwarf was named Sleepy, who can act like his given name by falling asleep. Sleepy is short and has light yellow skin, a pure white beard, black eyes, and an L-shaped peach nose. Sleepy's everyday attire consists of a long blue striped nightcap with a purple line, blue striped pajamas, and gray shoes.

The fourth dwarf's name was Grumpy, he has a catchpharse that goes "What are you, five?". Grumpy has light peach skin, a large pinkish nose, auburn eyebrows, freckles and a thick, brown beard. Grumpy's attire consists of an upside-down flower pot hat with with a red flower sticking out the top, a blue long-sleeved shirt, a black belt with a gold belt buckle, brown striped shorts, and purple shoes.

The fifth dwarf's name was Sneezy, who can perform powerful sneezes. Sneezy is, like the other dwarfs, short in size with pale, yellowish skin, messy brown hair, black eyes, and a large, pink nose. Sneezy sports a red and blue striped sweater with blue shorts underneath (blue pants as of Season 2, brown shoes, with laces a blue green German Alpine feathered hat, a blue green scarf, and a hanky in his left sweater pocket. He is one of the two of the 7D without a beard; the other being Dopey.

The sixth dwarf's name was Bashful, who strangely hides his face in his hat. Bashful is one of the dwarfs who protect Jollywood in The 7D. He may be really shy, but he also has a real knack for hiding. He also has a crush on Queen Delightful, which is revealed in "The Big Bash." He is Grumpy's and Happy's best friend. He has a high, squeaky (sometimes quiet) voice, despite being an adult. He doesn't talk that much in some of his appearances. Bashful is voiced by Billy West.

The seventh dwarf was named Happy, who was a jolly fellow. Happy has peach colored skin and wears a yellow long-sleeved shirt, an orange vest with a red flower on the left side, brown trousers, gray shoes, and a pointy green polka-dotted hat with a red ball of fuzz on top. He, like Grumpy, Doc, Bashful, and Sleepy, sports a beard. He is the first dwarf to sport a blond colored beard, the second being Doc.

Spyro was was diligently cleaning a table, while one of his fellow co-workers, Grumpy, glared impatiently at him. "Hurry up with those chairs, Spyro!" Grumpy called out. "If you haven't noticed, it's past closing time and I'd like to go home." "We'll help!" Doc said in an excited tone as the others (except Grumpy) nodded.

Just then, the phone rang and Spyro and Happy said, "I got it, I got it! Coming!"

They leaped for the phone, but Grumpy beat them to answering the phone, "Hello?" Spyro and Happy fell over and Grumpy said, "Sorry, sir, we're closed."

Queen Delightful snatched the phone out of Grumpy's hands and said, "Hello there, Queen Delightful's Bake Sale. How can I help you?" The customer explained the order over the phone. "Pizza?" Her eyes turned into stars. "Of course we have pizza!"

"Uhh, Queen Delightful..." Grumpy, Lord Starchbottom, and the others began.

"One of our delivery dwarves, will bring it right over," Queen Delightful said, before she hung up.

"Your Majesty, we don't serve pizza," Lord Starchbottom said. Queen Delightful grabbed a plate of cake and turned it into a chocolate chip pizza with a few other sweets on it and put it into a box. "We don't deliver," Grumpy protested.

"We don't deliver," Queen Delightful said, handing him the pizza box, "but I bet you do, Grumpy."

She began to walk away with Grumpy following close behind, as he said, "Can't you just get somebody else to do it? Like Spyro, Happy, Doc, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey, or Bashful?"

"Great idea," Queen Delightful said. "Take them with you!"

He walked away and Spyro and Happy slid over to Grumpy with a smile.

"That's not what I had in mind!" Grumpy shouted after her.

Later, Grumpy was sitting inside of the car and Spyro (along with Happy and the other 5D) was busy completing a vehicle inspection.

"Front end, check," Spyro said. "Antenna...(Dopey touches the antenna and makes it vibrate) check." Doc said. "Bumper, check." Sneezy spoke. "Bumper sticker...(the bumper sticker says "I Brake For Parties") check." Happy smiled. Happy then uncapped the tire pressure and filled up with air, before he said in a high, squeaky voice, "Tire pressure..." He blew out the rest of the pressure in Grumpy's face, much to Grumpy's annoyance, and said in a normal voice, "Check." Grumpy sat back in the passenger seat and began pouting while the others got into the car and Spyro sat in the driver's seat, as Sleepy said, "Vehicle inspection complete." "Alright, now we're ready to go" Bashful smiled. "We're really making history here, Grumpy. That lucky person is going to get the first pizza from Queen Delightful's Bake Sale ever!" Spyro smiled.

"Good," Grumpy said, putting his feet up on the dashboard, "then you drive."

"I can't," Spyro said, "I'm still in driving school."

"Come on, Spyro," Grumpy said. "It's just around the corner."

"Well, yeah, but..." Spyro began to protest.

"I don't know about this Grumpy" Doc spoke up.

"Yeah, I got a bad feeling this is gonna be a bad idea" Bashful spoke.

"I think we should let Doc switch places with Spyro so he can drive instead" Sleepy said.

"I think we should also listen to Spyro on this one, especially if he doesn't feel ready to do it" Sneezy piped up.

"Come on, he might never do it if we don't get him to try something so easy. Just do what you do in school," Grumpy told his roomates and Spyro.

"Well, okay," Spyro said, rubbing his hands, but then became a little nervous, as he said, "Wait, don't tell me."

Grumpy opened one eye and glared at him, before he said, "Back it up."

"Huh?" Spyro said.

"Back it up," Grumpy repeated.

"Right, back it up," Spyro said. "I knew that."

He nervously tried to pull the stick shift down to reverse and Grumpy got annoyed, as he repeated, "Back it up!"

The others were not happy with Grumpy's impatience towards Spyro.

"Okay, okay," said Spyro.

"Shift into reverse, Spyro!" Grumpy said.

"Reverse? Oh right, reverse," Spyro said and glanced at the stick shift nervously.

At this point, he had become so nervous that the words "FORWARD" and "REVERSE" turned into Korean words.

"BACK IT UP!" Grumpy shouted at him in annoyance.

"Grumpy!-" Doc yelled at him because he was ready to scold him but was cut off by Spyro.

"BACKING UP!" Spyro shrieked, as he shifted gears and the car began to back up really fast. "Backing up!"

At this time, Grumpy reached over and began trying to reverse the seat so he could take the wheel from Spyro, as he shouted, "Give me the wheel, Spyro! Give me the wheel!"

But Spyro ignored him due to having a mental breakdown, as he said, "Backing up! Backing up!" They began to back over rough terrain with rocks, as Spyro said, "Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ack-i-i-i-i-i-ng up!"

The 7D and Spyro screamed as the car began to spin round and round.

The next morning, the car had slowed down and was slowly backing up five hills, as Spyro said, "Backing up. Backing up. Backing up." Finally, the car came to a complete stop and Spyro said, "Backing up."

"Well, you backed up," Grumpy said. "And you know what? I think we're out of gas." Sure enough, the fuel needle was leaning on 'EMPTY.' Grumpy then got out of the car, as he said, "And you know what else?" His voice echoed as he shouted, "WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!"

Spyro walked up to Grumpy with the pizza, as he said, "And you know what else else? I think the pizza's getting cold."

"And the pizza's cold!" Grumpy exclaimed. He then said, sarcastically, "Oh, the pizza's cold. Not the pizza!" He angrily walked toward the car, as he snapped, "Oh, how could it get any worse?!"

He gave the car a good kick and the car started up again, as the fuel needle went to 'FULL' and the 7D and Spyro watched as the car drove forward fast back to the Castle.

"Well, we could still deliver it on foot," Spyro suggested.

Moments later, Spyro and the 7D were walking along side the road.

"Ow, ow, ow," Grumpy complained while Happy and Spyro sang.

Grumpy: And my feet are killing me

Suddenly, he yelped and tripped over Spyro, who had stopped walking and was listening to the ground intently.

"Spyro, what are you, Happy, and Dopey doing?!" Grumpy snapped at him.

Spyro rubbed the ground, as he explained, "It's an old pioneer trick. I saw it in a movie once along with Happy and Dopey."

Grumpy sighed and said, "Guys, this is no time for - "

But Spyro shushed him and heard the sound of an engine, as he said, "It's working."

"What is it?" asked Grumpy.

Spyro grabbed Grumpy and pointed into the distance, as he said, "Car! Four wheels!" Sure enough, a truck was driving up. "Now, We can show you how the pioneers hitchhiked." He then walked out into the middle of the road wearing a cowboy hat and began to dance with Happy, as they said, "Whee...ee..." As Spyro and Happy continued ululating and dancing, Grumpy pretended to play the drums with a deadpan look on his face as the others played instruments and Spyro (along with Happy) began to inchworm on the road.

"Thrashin' frashin' breakdancers!" The driver, Rocko, said in fear of hitting them after screaming, before he blasted his horn as a way to warn them to move out of the way.

"He's stopping! He's stopping!" Grumpy said, but then he noticed although Rocko was stopping, his car was probably not stopping fast enough as the Wallaby continued to try to warn Spyro and Happy as he didn't want to hit them, so then he and the others ran over and tackled Spyro and Happy out of the way and the group got sprayed by mud. Grumpy glared at Happy and Spyro in annoyance as Rocko sighed in relief before driving off again.

Later on, Spyro and the 7D were walking through a windstorm and Happy (along with Spyro) was singing once again.

But then the 7D's beards and Spyro's wings was blown back by the wind. Spyro tried to get back beside Grumpy, but the wind blew him back and began to blow him around. At this point, Grumpy stopped walking.

"Will you let go of that stupid pizza already?!" Grumpy snapped at Spyro.

"I can't," Spyro said as he flew past Grumpy. "It's for the customer!"

"Who cares about the customer?!" Grumpy snapped.

"We do!" Spyro and the others replied, as Spyro flew past Grumpy again.

"Well, I don't!" Grumpy retorted, as Spyro flew past him again.

The wind stopped blowing him around and Spyro gasped in shock and gave Grumpy a reprimanding look, as he said, "Grumpy," before the wind began to blow him around again.

"What is wrong with you?" Doc said. "We are suppose to care for the customer for the Queen!" Bashful glared at him. "That's right, Grumpy" Happy told him, "Yeah" Sneezy spoke up. "That's the truth" Sleepy said as Dopey made noise and nodded.

"Let go of that pizza!" Grumpy snapped at Spyro.

"No," Spyro and the others (except Dopey who made noise instead) spoke said, as Spyro knocked Grumpy over.

When Spyro flew past him again, Grumpy and the other 6D grabbed onto his and each other's legs and began to be dragged around with him, as Grumpy shouted, "Spyro, let go of the pizza!"

"No, it's for the customer!" Spyro yelled in determination, as he held onto the pizza.

"Spyro!" Grumpy shouted. His eyes widened in terror when he and the rest of the 7D saw they were heading toward a tornado. "Let go of the pizza!"

"No!" Spyro screamed, as they were sucked up into the tornado.

"Spyro!" Grumpy shouted again, and then he looked down and saw how high up they were being lifted. "Hang onto the pizza!" Grumpy screamed.

The tornado spat them out and the group screamed as they began to fall, but the pizza turned into a parachute and Spyro floated down gently to the ground along with the other 6D (due to them grabbing onto Spyro) while Grumpy landed hard. Then Grumpy noticed something was wrong.

"Hey! Hey!" He said, before he crawled around and asked, "Where's the road?" He looked around in a panic, as he asked, "Where's the road?" He began to panic and run around, as Spyro and the others floated down and landed. "We're doomed! How are we gonna get home? Which way do we go? What are we gonna do now? There's no road here!"

Spyro spotted a rock with moss covering one side and pointed in that direction, saying, "I think town's this way."

"I agree" Happy said as Dopey nodded his head and made noise.

Grumpy stopped panicking and frowned, before he walked over to Spyro, Happy, and Dopey and said, "Oh, don't tell me, Jethro and Friends. The pioneers?"

"That's right," Spyro said. "Moss always points to civilization."

"That way? That way there?" Grumpy said, pointing in the direction of the moss, and Dopey nodded. "So, let me get this straight. You think that we should go that way?"

"Yep!" Happy said.

Grumpy turned and walked off in the opposite direction, as he said, "Well, then I'm going this way."

"Huh?" Spyro said in surprise, before he ran after Grumpy and said, "'Grump, wait! I don't think - "

"Trust me," Grumpy said, confidently. "I know where I'm going."

What Grumpy didn't know was that the city was in the direction the moss had been pointing.

Spyro and the 7D continued walking and, needless to say, Spyro and Happy had begun singing again.

Then Happy began making drum noises, as he said, "Pizza...Pizza..." Then he turned around and began walking backwards, wiggling his butt, as he continued making drum noises.

Then, a little while later, Spyro and Happy began singing like gospel singers.

(Grumpy flinches and glares at Happy and Spyro in annoyance)

Later, Spyro and the 7D were getting completely exhausted, as Spyro and Happy said, "Delightful Pizza...for you...and the Queen...and the Bake Sale...and the pizza (mumbles incoherently)..."

Finally, the group collapsed in exhaustion.

"Spy," Grumpy said, "we gotta eat something."

Spyro grabbed a small log and said, "I heard in times of hardship, the pioneers would eat wood." Grumpy snatched the log from him and began eating it. "No, maybe it wasn't wood," Spyro said. At this, Grumpy spat the wood out. "Maybe, it was dirt, no mud."

"Give me the pizza!" Grumpy growled.

Spyro held the pizza close to him and said, "Wait, I remember now! It was wood!"

"Give it to me!" Grumpy said.

"No, we promised it's for the customer!" Spyro said.

"That's true, Grumpy" Doc said as Dopey ate some wood as he nodded. "Yeah, so let's go find something else to eat" Bashful spoke up. Happy, Sneezy, and Sleepy agreed with Spyro, Doc, Dopey, and Bashful as well.

Grumpy smiled and said, "You're right. It's for the customer."

Spyro looked suspiciously at Grumpy, as he said, "Yeah."

"Maybe, we better check on it," Grumpy suggested with a wink, "make sure it's okay."

"Well..." Spyro said.

"Just a peek," Grumpy said.

He began to open the pizza box a little, and Spyro quickly closed it, saying, "Okay, it's fine!"

"No, I think I saw something," Grumpy said, before he opened the box all the way, revealing the pizza. "Oh, nope, I was wrong. It's okay," he said. "Sure is a fine-looking pizza."

"Yeah," Spyro agreed with a smile.

"What's that?" Grumpy asked with a tempting smile. "Is that the frosting?"

"Yeah," Spyro said.

"And the Chocolate chips?" Grumpy asked him.

"Yeah," Spyro said, and began to lick his lips.

"Oh, looks good, huh?" asked Grumpy.

Suddenly, Spyro exclaimed, "Wait a second! I know what you're trying to do, Grumpy!" He closed the box and held it close to him, saying, "I'm not letting you eat the pizza!"

Grumpy dropped the act and said, "Give me the pizza!"

"No!" Spyro snapped.

"Don't make me take it from you, Spyro," Grumpy threatened.

"Get away!" Spyro said, then she turned and ran.

"Get back here, Spyro!" Grumpy shouted, before he took off after Spyro and began chasing him around. "Give me that pizza!" The other 7D members began to chase after Grumpy to try and stop him from chasing Spyro so he doesn't eat the pizza, Queen Delightful trusted them to deliver.

"No!" Spyro, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy screamed as Dopey did a horse whinny.

"Guys!" Grumpy screamed, as he started to get exhausted.

"No!" Spyro screamed again.

"Spyro!"

"No!"

Grumpy slowed to a stop, as he said, "Wait," and began trying to catch his breath.

"No! No!" Spyro cried, as he ran around until he bumped into Grumpy, who whirled around before being dogpiled on by Doc, Bashful, Happy, Sleepy, Sneezy, and Dopey. Grumpy got out of the pile and said, "I want that pizza, and you're gonna hand it over one way or another!"

Suddenly, Spyro turned and said, "Look, we're saved!"

"Yeah, sure, we're saved," Grumpy said. "NOW, GIVE ME SOME PIZZA!"

"No, really, 'Grump!" Spyro said, before he began to jump up and down in excitement. "We're saved! We're saved!"

"Will you cut that out?!" Grumpy snapped at him, as Spyro (and Happy after he and the others got up) began to sing conga style. Happy danced and did cartwheels while Spyro did gliding tricks during this.

Happy walked over to a boulder, as he declared, "We are saved!"

"That's just a stupid boulder!" said Grumpy.

"It's not just a boulder," Spyro said, embracing it with a sniffle. "It's a rock!" Happy cried joyfully, "A rock! A rock! It's a big beautiful old rock!" Spyro then climbed up it and sat on top, as he added, "Oh, the pioneers used to ride these babies for miles, and it's in great shape!"

"Guys, will you forget the stupid pioneers?!" Grumpy shouted in annoyance as the other 6D climbed on the rock. "Have you ever noticed that there are none of them left? That's because they were lousy hitchhikers, ate wood, and took directions from moss! And now, you're telling me they thought they could drive - " Suddenly, Spyro ran Grumpy over with the boulder, covering him in dirt. "Rocks?" Grumpy said in shock. Then he got up and chased after Spyro and the other 6D, shouting, "Hold on there, Jethro and Friends!"

Moments later, Spyro and the 7D drove up to the house they were to deliver the chocolate chip pizza to.

"I can't wait to see the look on our customer's face!" Spyro told Grumpy, before he jumped off of the rock. "Me too" Happy said, wanting to go with the Dragon.

Spyro and Happy walked up to the door, and Happy rang the doorbell. Then they turned to Grumpy and the others and gave them a thumbs-up.

Scoutmaster Lumpus, who had ordered the chocolate chip pizza, opened the door and said, "Yeah?"

"Congratulations, sir," Spyro announced. "Your Chocolate chip pizza from Queen Delightful of Jollywood is here!"

"Wow, thanks," Scoutmaster Lumpus said, taking the pizza from them. "I've been dying for one of these." But then he realized something and asked, "Where's my drink?"

Spyro and Happy looked baffled. "What drink?" Spyro and Happy asked.

Scoutmaster Lumpus got angry, as he said, "My drink! My Diet Dr. Pepper!" Happy quickly pulled out the order form and looked through it, as the Scoutmaster Lumpus said, "Don't tell me you forgot my drink!"

"But, you didn't order any..." Spyro began as he looked at it too.

"How am I supposed to eat this pizza without my drink?!" Scoutmaster Lumpus cut him off.

"But...But..." Happy and Spyro protested, as tears began to well up in their eyes and roll down their cheeks.

"Didn't you ever once think of the customer?!" Scoutmaster Lumpus snapped, as he shoved the pizza at Happy. "You call yourself delivery boys?!" Sleepy woke up and now noticed (along with Grumpy and the others) what was happening, much to their concern, as Scoutmaster Lumpus added, "Well, I ain't buying!"

Grumpy and the others cringed as the door slammed shut.

"Spy? Hap?" Grumpy asked in concern. Happy and Spyro walked up, smiling and trying hard not to cry, as Grumpy and the others jumped down from the rock and Grumpy asked again, "Spy? Hap?" Spyro and Happy didn't respond. "Spy, Hap, it's okay," Grumpy tried to assure him along with the others. "Spy? Hap?"

Finally, Happy dropped the pizza, collapsed onto the ground with Spyro, and they broke down sobbing.

Grumpy looked even more concerned as he asked, "Spy? Hap?" But Spyro and Happy didn't respond as they continued crying. Then Grumpy glared at the Scoutmaster Lumpus' house and his eyes narrowed angrily, before he growled while the others were comforting Happy and Spyro, "That does it."

He picked up the chocolate chip pizza and stomped up to the door, deciding to take a try. Once he approached the house, he hammered on the door angrily.

"Another one?" Scoutmaster Lumpus said, once he opened the door to see Grumpy with the pizza. "Look, I told your little friends I ain't paying for that!"

"WELL, THIS ONE'S ON THE HOUSE!" Grumpy snapped, as he slammed the chocolate chip pizza into the Scoutmaster Lumpus' face, forcing him to swallow the whole thing in one gulp. The other 5D then attacked Scoutmaster Lumpus until they succeed in knocking him out.

They then walked back over to Spyro and Happy, looking immensely pleased with themselves as they dusted their hands off. If there was one thing Grumpy wouldn't admit to his friends, it was that he had a little soft spot for Spyro and Happy. And anyone who messed with them messed with him.

Spyro and Happy looked up at Grumpy with tears in their eyes and Spyro asked, "Did he change his mind?"

"He sure did," Grumpy said, smugly. "Ate the whole thing in one bite."

Spyro and Happy stopped crying and jumped up with a smile, as Spyro asked, "No drink?"

"Nope," Grumpy said, before he climbed up onto the rock and said, "Now, take us Home. We can tell the story to the Queen later."

"Are you kidding?" Happy told him, as he jumped up and revved a fake engine. "We have just enough time to make it back to work!"

Grumpy's eyes widened as Happy backed up the rock where they arrived instantly at the Castle.

"Work?" Grumpy asked.

Grumpy V/O: Oh, my aching feet.
