The most valuable work that a military can do isn't build fancy gear or train its soldiers to fight to the death. Armed forces are a machine; it should be looked after with proper maintenance and spare parts. These difficulties have only increased as wars have become stretched over lightyears and multiple planets, necessitating a simplified, robust logistics chain that could quickly adapt to interstellar warfare. The Tolesian Commonwealth prides itself on the fact that it has developed such a system. So long as supplies aren't cut off, no soldier goes hungry, no vehicle unrepaired, and no plane is needlessly grounded. Tactics win battles. Strategies win theaters. But logistics wins wars.

Here we see a couple of Tolesian mechanics replacing the fuel cells on a tank (behemoths as they call them) as the crew take a moment to rest and recuperate before heading out onto their next mission. The salt flat they're on is quite hot and dry. Fortunately, the military has provided the mechanics with hats and plenty of canteens of water. They have also taken matters into their own hands and have turned the turret 90 degrees to get some extra shade.
