This is a rather personal piece that I started when my mother was put in the hospital. I started thinking about the simple life when I was little, so I drew this. At these times I was a fan of illustrated books with cute clothed animals in it, such as Vera de muis (Dutch thing). That's why I made it dressed rabbits. I come from a very traditional family so my mother would always cook while the kids would just play or anything. XD OK this description probably does not make sense but oh well.
It took long to finish it and my mother is back home again :)
