So, now that I've gotten Baphy is a state I'm happy-ish with I'm going to expand on her world. This is a project i'm titling Sinful for now. So here is a rough draft for the character Tzipporah.

Tzipporah (Sip-poor-uh) the Carnal Master is the Demoness that Baphy and her allies follow. Tzipporah unlike most other demons of her status she is forgiving and patient with her followers. Guiding them to her bidding with a gentle hand.

Designing the character of Tzipporah is a lot harder than I expected. I want the overall concept of the story of Sinful to to be light hearted and fun but maintaining an air of the macabre in every scene. The show will of course be a fairly standard 'main character kind of sucks at their job' type of thing which has been played to death but I don't want that job to be the focus of the story. I want the characters and how they grow from Tzipporah, to Baphy, to any other characters I introduce into the story. I want to make them the framework.

So with that in mind I need to tread careful to avoid turning Tzipporah into a stereotypical evil edgy villain but keeping her as far away from the incompetent villain as I can. So she sits at a point of a desensitized cynic. Her growth will be a story revolving around a will she won't she relationship with mortality and her demon nature. Ideas for possible plots revolving around this is she takes a jaunt up to earth and takes on a mortal disguise and has Baphy lead her around where they get into stupid and whacky situations ultimately ending with Tzipporah having one of the best days of her life. Baphy of course doesn't intend to slowly convert her Demon Lady into a mortal but with each passing sub plot she might get closer or further away depending on how it works out. Tzipporah also finds it endearing how hard Baphy tries to mimic being a demon and by proxy Tzipporah herself, which is why she keeps her around and develops a connection that might go beyond just needing a mortal to acquire enough followers to preform the ritual to summon her.
