I wanted to make a thank you picture to one of my favorite artists @theinsanecrayonbox aka Kpendragon

She’s the reason I came back to tumblr after a years hiatus. I left due to bullying and trolls but decided to comeback because I missed her art.

I first found Kpendragon in 2004 ish on a site called theOtaku she drew Harry Potter wolves and was scared of Chibis
In 2006 I joined Devieantart and by chance found her again, she had just hit 666 followers and had norm the genie in the picture of her in fetal position on the ground freaking out. I recognized the art style and freaked out I loved her work and here was a chance for me to follow her!

So I did from 2006-2015 that’s what I did Sundays became “Kpendragon Sundays” Becuse that’s when she would mass post all her work, I followed her various ships and fandoms I was homophobic at the time but still loved her work I even sold her my build a bear items at one point. I had a massive crush on a verity of her OCs in 2012 I joined tumblr fr the first time and found her blog following it.

I’m all my leavings between 2015-2022 whenever I’d come back I’d make sure to follow her, she’s still one of my biggest inspirations and really shaped me as a person and artist so I wanted to draw something as a thank you for just being a consistent in my life

Back in 2020 I was friends with a user who wanted me to stop interacting with Kpendragon for the sol reason that Kpendragon had blocked this user “for no reason” thing was it wasn’t for no reason I had told Kpen to block Marieangel04 at the time because I knew what would happen as both a LGBTQA artist and Danny x Sam shipper Marie would go at KP with out question and I wanted to protect a artist who always inspired me
When Marie said I had to stop interacting with KP I knew my time as her friend was ending, I’d rather keep following an artist I’ve known since 14 then one I kept clashing with

As for the picture itself I went Nostalgic outing as many ships I associate with this artist as possible including her very old one of skulker x herself the Orginal 2006 ship
