This was an absolute joy to paint. Granted, she did most of the work, because she's awesome. XD What I did, was the line art of the wolf, and added the coloring foundation for the background and she did an amazing job of detailing it. She started the details on the werewolf and I finished it. I tried to mimic her 'paintery' style and I LOVE it. I do think I'll do more of this art style in the future.

Anyways, our idea behind this piece was a male warrior wolf sits down and puts on his 'war paint' (hence the title). Originally there was gonna be Chinese relics and symbols, including weaponry, but we sorta just threw it out.

We started this back in September/October (2011) I think, and passed the .psd back and forth multiple times picking at it. Not sure how many hours went into this, but we both used Photoshop.
