Maybe I'm a little morbid but this necklace was inspired by and reminds me of a blood trail a wounded deer or elk leaves as it makes its escape into the wilderness. The big faceted dark red garnet beads remind me of huge splashes and droplets of blood in snow. Thankfully for the deer this antler tip was from a shed antler and not an animal that was killed, so no animals were harmed for this necklace.
