A pair of Betta Ocellata gently embrace in the dim light amongst the thick vegetation.

Entered this piece in the 2008 state fair and took fourth. It did me proud.

Also entered in the 2011 IBC show hosted by the California Betta Society and took 2nd. Sold at the show.

The original photo I referenced was taken by Zhou Hang of ikanpemburu.com and I did receive direct permission from him to use his photos in my artwork.
