It's the Year of the Dragon and tradition requires that one of the sisters eat one. Unfortunately dragons are scarce and most of them greatly outmatch the sisters, so finding one to eat is hard work. Maybe sometime this year an opportunity will arise.

In the meantime Nyoka managed to catch a lamia of the scaly lower half, human upper half sort. "Close enough," she muttered, coiled her up and swallowed her down. Nyoka has had feathers and scales together in her droppings from gryphons. This will be the first time she's had scales and human hair.

I'll post an outside view of this tomorrow for those who don't like the cutaway. It was a bit of an experiment.
