Eblis's species evolved to swallow prey whole and alive, using their large claws to grip and subdue it before sucking it into the flexible snout. Most modern members of the species of them are too small to eat a human-sized creature whole, but Eblis is a bit of a biological throwback who is much large (and much dumber) than the others. He also grew up in a fetish colony where he ate people (including his own species) since flash-cloning was readily available and people didn't stay dead. Someone should tell him things are different around here. 83
