We lost touch, and I only ever took this photo. It wasn't even a very good one, but it's dear to me.
A pretty quick painting. I feel like I've lost touch with many awesome people. It's why I kept the figure loose and not really defined, it's not a single defined person. I think that little regret is something we all share. Hope it's not too pretentious. I also wanted to paint a cloud :V

There's so much regret in those old memories; you can't help but hang on to them.
This speaks to me on many different levels, from the loose dreaminess of the rendering to the sharp contrast and upward sweeping motion set by the color theory.Thank you for this.
