So this is Jack, who is a character that I've had for ages but one I've never uploaded a picture of. Before now, Jack has pretty much existed solely on a few scraps of paper and in the stories I tell my family on long car trips and when I'm home for holidays.

Jack's people are a little like Cheshire cats and a bit like tooth faeries. They're made smile first by others of their kind who collect teeth from corpses or that have been lost after fights (a lot of the time from drunken brawls in back alleys) and accidents, mostly they'll be adult human teeth but they can also be made from children, animals like stray dogs and cats and broken glass or metal shards (they are mostly a city-dwelling species because that's where all of the best materials are found. Woodland dwelling whatever-they-are's look a lot more animalistic and feral.) When the whole smile is formed it generally ends up looking like a mouth of perfect vampire teeth and then the rest of the body forms around it. If they're really angry they can change the teeth back and 'show what they're made of' but if you see that you're probably not about to live to tell anyone about it.

They're generally an it/they species rather than a he/she because they're honestly just a smile with a body that they can change at will.

Jack is pretty much a hairless sphynx cat in a wig and a trench-coat.
