Great job, I see a large improvement in the dog and the boys face. I also think he looks less awkward then i the beginning. The only other thing I could say is that you need to work on the teeth a bit, teeth are hard yet simple and i can never get the right xD
I love the colouring though, looks good!-

Oh hey! I helped with this one! Well, somewhat. A little bit. A tiiiiny little itty bit. Heh. This turned out great, though! I'm really digging it with some colors and soft shading, makes it pop quite well.
