This picture depicts Stein as myself, and how I feel when I listen to music: whole, lost, shiny, weightless, beautiful. The song I referenced is a kickass Switchfoot song off their new album that showed up on shuffle just when I was deciding what to name this puppy. And it's just the perfect title. When I listen to music, I am freeing myself from the shit around me. I'm soothing my wounds with a melodic bandage. I can move forward and be free, and be me.
