Reupload from 2012. Art-trade with a friend of their character, my species. <3

My half of an art trade with ~dragonrise from a few months back! She drew an awesome picture of my character Flame (link oh my god he turned out beautiful sdkjfhsfjs Jess ;A;) and asked me to draw her Layhr character, XIX. I've actually had this done for quite some time, just haven't uploaded it anywhere public!

You guys have no idea how much I love his design. 8| Definitely in my 'top favorites' list of Layhr other people have created, and given how long it's been since the last time I drew him (link seriously, just look at how old that is, that must be 2005 at least) I was excited at the chance to draw him again! ffff I feel like it's cheating when people ask me to draw my own species for trades, I lav drawing layhr sdkjhfsk <3

Added the background in as an afterthought, and while it probably shows, I still like it better than a plain one. Overall, I'm quite happy with how this turned out!
