A red fox has traveled from England to what is today called Kenya to oversee the construction of the Uganda Railway and get in some cricket while the locals look on, perplexed.

The house is loosely based on a couple of lodges in South Africa including Glen Afric; the house from Wild at Heart. The flag on top of the house is that of British East Africa.

I also looked up the British Indian Army which had a battalion in the area at the time, and added the Indian Wolf soldier as a subtle reference to the Jungle Book.
