I wanted to create a mascot for a fictional video shop. I decided on an eighties style dragon and looked at various media from the eighties to look for similar traits and notices similarities between them like the chonky, bipedal design, small and impractical wings, a long snout and thin horns, three toed feet and a forked tongue. For the colour pallet I went with the colour of an actual sticker price on an old ex rental and used a similar font to the text on that sticker and a secondary more cursive looking font for the "advertising speak" that I've seen in a lot of advertising for video shops in the nineties.

I think his name is Andy from when I was thinking about calling the pretend video shop Adventure Video.
