I was tapped a little while back by author Paul Kidd to do a cover for his upcoming tabletop RPG 'Heroes of Morhost - fangs, fur and fury' and given the task to draw something I always enjoy drawing: Historic armor/weapons and skeletons.
Little did I know just how complicated skeletons really get, but I was able to research the daylights out of it which was a lot of fun. Though I realize that sounds strange given how grisly bones are to most folks.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the rule-set will be like. From the briefs I was given for the commission, it's got a lot of interesting historical stuff in it (and critters!).
This is the first cover I've actually ever been asked to do, which is pretty exciting. It was a blast to work on.

Ooo, very nice! You did a great job with the skeleton there, especially!
