chase was supposed to be the 'bad boy' trope, but y'know, the bad one. the borderline abusive/asshole type.
however i can't write a character to be that thin watered down 'bad guy' to save my life, also modern bad boy
characters suck lmao.

i tried straying away from that trope, and having him have literally NO redeeming qualities what so ever,
but the more i tried to tell people chase couldn't be salvaged or changed with romance, the more they
wanted to :/

so he's kind of back to normal now. chase was always supposed to be the opposite of toons, while
still being a dumb teenager. he really really cares about his friends, and is quite the hopeless romantic.
he'll stand up for what he thinks is right in flawed systems, even if he has to do it alone.

he's the first to lend a shoulder for anyone to cry on, but he's also impulsive with alcohol and bad choices.
but hey, nobody really gets off scott free with all the character development they need after suffering
through a neglectful childhood and pretending to be someone you're not for years upon years of
your life. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

... chase is just really important to me okay? okay ♡
