So for some reason I find it important to upload these process videos. I guess it lets people know how I'm coming along with there art if anything. I hope you guys find them interesting.
In any case, this is the video I made of redec-the-lion character.
I always start out tracing my sketches with basic vector lines. Then when the illustration is completely inked I reshape the outlines and try to make them look a little bit dynamic. I really enjoy using illustrators pen tool vs, simply painting the outlines in photoshop because I prefer my artwork to look more machined. Generally very crisp. Though Im trying some different things. Im still not sure how I intend to color this one. Either in Illustrator or Photoshop. Each tool creates a different look. Because of the organic shape of the character I may have to use photoshop. But we will see.
