Dakota was, unfortunately, tricked by the Namazu into becoming one of their slaves. They left a rigged bell out for some poor sap to come along and pick up, only to find the aetheric rubber inside the bell spill out and ensnare their body. Like all the rest of the 'Fresh Fish', Dakota had to undergo intense indoctrination and discipline from the other slaves, but something set Dakota apart. Perhaps it was their mannerisms? Their body language? Or maybe it was nothing at all and purely random. Dakota was 'lucky' enough to become a Geisha slave. The Namazu outfitted Dakota with a pink dress and glued a latex cherry blossom to Dakota's big dumb rubber ball head to outfit Dakota to provide companionship for some of the festivals more 'distinguished' guests.

The slaves, being a timid bunch, respect and revere the Geishas and they in turn assert dominance and play a key role in breaking the fresh slaves. The Geishas will administer discipline or humiliate the newbies if they step out of line. And Dakota embraced this role and their new kinky, bizarre life with open fins.
