• Moonstar Appearance Moonstar is a beautiful she-cat with golden and blue heterochromic eyes. She has soft, velvetic fur and a light silver coat with darker grey spots and speckles. She has the marking of a cresent moon on her forehead (Her leader mark), which was given by StarClan in honour of what she did to help the Clans.

Background story

When the moon darkened while no clouds were present, the cats of LavenderClan were frightened. They gathered on the clearing, looking up at the strange sky. Brightmoon sat beside her two kits, Moonkit and Darkkit, curling her tail around them to make them feel safe. Sundewstar, the leader and Brightmoon's mate strolled beside them.
"It's a sign from StarClan." He breathed.
Just then, Blueflower, the medicine cat's eyes seemed to glaze over for a heartbeat, then returned to normal. The medicine cat gasped softly and whipped her head around to glance at Moonkit and Darkkit, who was staring back at her, confused. She then looked up at Brightmoon, with fear in her eyes.
She bent down to whisper in Blackpaw, the medicne cat apprentice's ear. The apprentice closed his eyes and after a while, opened them back up. Then he shouted loudly.
"DON'T BE SCARED EVERYONE! STARCLAN WILL WANT US TO FEEL SAFE!"
Blueflower walked past Brightmoon and her kits, muttering something about "A darkening moon". What was all this about, and why were the medicine cats acting so... Terrified?
