The most recent addition to my workshop, a lovely pair of springbok horns from South Africa.

They're quite petite at only 9" long, but have a lovely shape. They are just so cute, I'm gonna die.

The shape should be ideal for some dragons, but they're slim enough I think they'll do really nicely used stand-alone on headbands or hair-clips. We'll see how they balance. It's likely I'll do one full version for costume/crafts use and a headband type with the underside of the base curve flattened out to make direct use easier.

Currently varnishing & smoothing up the base in preparation for silicone.

I hope to get some even larger springbok horns over the next few months. But one thing at a time!
