This creature has been something I've messed around with for years.
I've changed minor details here and there, but he's always maintained his overall look.

Name: Faux (pronounced like "fox"..often mispronounced as "foe")
Species: Faksen (pronounced like "fake. sen")
A cunning creature who dwells in the depths of most forests or heavily wooded areas.
They are similar in lore to the werewolf, in the sense that they are normal foxes who have been infected from the bite of a breed of snake still being researched. Unlike werewolves, fauxes can never return to their normal fox sate, but have been known to infect other animals, mostly rabbits, when they are lonely, or just for their amusement.
They feed primarily on rabbits, rodents, or other small creatures.
They have large canines, and the rest of their teeth are needle-like.

They can unhinge their jaws and swallow creatures much larger than their stomachs can handle, so when observed, they are captured and their mouths are sewn half-way.
