My second project for my sculpting class this semester had to do with pattern. I found a great material that reminded me of dragon scales to wrap around and around...so I constructed a base that's suppose to look like a taxidermy dragon head

The inner structure is made out of fiberglass (which is a huuuuuuuuuge pain to work with)
I casted like five different pieces over the model I had made, then stuck them with more fiberglass.
I had a friend's dad help me with the lighting fixture, but the rest was made by me (other than the plaque it's mounted on..I just painted and finished it)

The horns and eyes are made of clear resin
The tongue and teeth are actually made from clear silicone caulking.
The smoke is (polyester maybe) stuffing.
The scales were made from some yarn/ribbon thing x3

(teeth, tongue, and horns are suppose to look like icicles)
