This was done in honor of Independence Day/Fourth of July, 2012.

This was kind of spur of the moment art, one of the few pieces I produced in 2012 honestly, hence why it's pretty much just a sketch with color tossed on, but...I kinda like it this way.

I see her stretching out below

Land, blessed mother land

The place where I was born

Scars, yea she's got her scars

Sometimes it starts to worry me

Cause lose, I don't want to lose

Sight of who we are

From the mountains high

To the wave crash coast

There's a way to find

Got a ways to go

This is still the place

Free, nothing feels like free

Though it sometimes means we don't get along

Cause same, no were not the same
