"Right, that's it for today class! Take care and have a good weekend. August, can you stay back, I need a word.

August packed away her class notes, and approached the front desk after the last few of her classmates had vacated the room.

"August, if you've got the time this weekend, I could really use your help with a really important job. Your terraforming skills are amongst the best I've seen, so I would really like you to do it."

"Sure Sir, what's up?"

"There's a planet out on the far side of the Iylyrk system. Tiny little world, barely a few thousand kilometres across. They're killing themselves with over-industrialisation, they've turned their planet into a plantless wasteland."

"Wait what? They cut down all their trees?"

"Almost! So many that it's destroying their ecosystems, anyway. CO2 levels are through the roof, planetary warming is melting everything, and pollution levels are absolutely hazardous."

"Alright, this sounds pretty urgent, what do I do?"

"Alright there little guys, don't worry I'm not going to hurt anyone! I heard you were having problems with lack of trees. These might be a little bigger than you're used to but they'll sort your problems out in no time!"

Seeing as we're in the month of August, it would be improper to go without drawing her. Here she is helping out a little world who over the years have cut down too many trees. And while they're trying to fix things now, it's all a bit late for them. Fortunately a distress signal was reached by a passing Araltian and sent back to the planet for people to deal with.

August loves terraforming, normally starting with planets that are completely useless and inhospitable and turning them into garden planets, sometimes even literally. For those particularly skilled in it in Araltys it's a full time job, and a very useful one at that. Tiny worlds are a lot of use to people of all sizes. I wonder if we can get her to do a thing or two about mars!
