I need more insect-based characters, so here we go! This lil' lady is named Vistasia, and despite my lousy title, she is more wasp-like than anything.

She was not born, but created by her people through an experiment to make a perfect group of killers for their army. 100 specimens were artificially produced in this lab, but Vistasia was one of only a dozen who actually survived and grew normally after they were created. Vistasia and her fellow experiments were gifted with agility and strength, and they were genetically mutated to have a stinger on the back of each hand to essentially be used as spears. However, this group did not enjoy the idea of being enslaved into the military for the rest of their lives, so they were easily able to escape their homeland and flee to a place far away from their creators. The group remained together for some time, but eventually all of its members drifted apart to find their own path in life.

Vistasia chose the path of fleeting loyalty and plentiful reward. Soon after she left her group of experiments, she managed to make herself a reputation in a small port town, and ultimately became a competent mercenary- hunting down targets for whoever could provide them. Her body was well-equipped for the art of murder, but it was the riches that enticed her more than anything. Not only did she get paid for killing, but she often made off with any valuables her targets may have had on them- a very lucrative profession, in her eyes. A profession that she was glad to call hers.

(im trying to get used to actually writing out stories for my characters after i draw them, i used to do it all the time so it would be nice to get back into the swing of that!)
