The new big rat had stared blankly at the scented cheddar in the palm of the fellow ratling's hand before finally picking it up in his huge paws and then devouring it withing seconds, enjoying the taste of the gooey cheese, his tail waving in excitement.

It was obvious the human named Jonny that had stood there before was far gone and now, in his place was a fat rat that had nothing more on his mind than to steal and eat to survive.
