Chopping away at the Swifthorn subspecies references; here we have the Aerial Swifthorn.

Both the Aerial and Cavern Swifts have bioluminescence.

They are a nocturnal race; taking to the skies at night to get where they need to go for their nightly chores and jobs. They frequently run into Jesters ( http://spiralofvertigo.deviantart.com/art/Jester-215912104 ) who they compete against for the best trade routes. They also partner up with Jesters to maximize profits. Aerial Swifts have more stamina than Jesters and can travel much further distances but Jesters can fly much faster which helps them collect flying fauna species much easier.

Their main exports are herbs that grow on the highest peaks and research specimens.

They do frequently live in mountain ranges but can be spotted at the entrances to huge cave systems. Cavern Swifts live in such caves but they reside much much deeper in.

Both the Aerial Swifts and the Jester have night time sky camouflage coloration though some can get pretty bright; those of which tend to fly right before sunset and at the crack of dawn.

They have black teeth and noses similar to vultures.
