X3 A common conundrum of mine. Unidentifiable mushrooms. Though, as someone who can I.D. about 30 species with reliability, MOST mushrooms are unidentifiable to me considering there are thousands and thousands of species that occur natively here. OuO; So I figured this ink drawing on toned paper of a specimen I found today fit the theme of "Mysterious" very well.

Brown, wavy-capped, brown and white patched and growing from twig and leaf litter... no volva, no veil, brown gills... a mysterious lil bugger for me! X3
