this is sunday. in my chars universe, she was born... a couple hundred years ago? I forgot the timeline exactly. but she and her brother were experimenting with incantations and summons and ended up summoning a terrible demon, who used them to begin a take over of the planet.

eventually the demon was banished away to the realm where it came from, and sunday and her brother were sent with it. in that realm, time stands still, so they're cursed with immortality. her brother wants to seek revenge for his banishment and restore power to the demon that he now worships, so he devotes years to finding a way back to their home realm.

every so often, a rift is opened between the two worlds, and at least one of them is able to slip through. using sunday as the weakened demon's vessel, he would send her through to find someone in a position of power to become the demon's permanent vessel. this resulted in sunday attacking and killing a lot of people who would resist against the passing of the weak demon from vessel to vessel. filled with remorse, it was then that sunday discovered her ability to raise the dead, after grieving the deaths of her victims and wishing to take back what she had done. unfortunately, they come back as mindless, immortal zombies.

her time spent in the home realm is short, unable to maintain the energy to takes to keep the rift open. when she returns she tells her brother of her power and he hatches a new plan. he becomes focused on building an undead army to rise up and overtake their home world. he uses sunday to gather bodies (who eventually begins recruiting other people to help her with her endeavors. whether they be followers of their ideals or just people looking for violent outlets, it all depends, and they change through the years.) and then have her raise them again. in some cases, he even frankensteins some of the bodies together before they're brought back, to build more powerful, if not grotesque, soldiers.

as time goes by, sunday's powers become more acute. after one of their minions lures in a new victim (aka daric to those of you who are vaguely familiar with my characters), when sunday tries to resurrect him, he returns to life... but with sentience. startled, but amazed and relieved, she manages to smuggle him back to the home realm, thankful that she could save one life after taking so many.

uhhh AND THEN A LOT OF STUFF HAPPENS WITH HIM but its a big long story, lots and ins and outs, but her importance MOSTLY ends there... hopefully I will be able to indulge you all with more in the future.
