Next group is the boas. These are PREMADES and will be available at Anthrocon. They are not for sale yet. Any leftovers will be taken to FAU in August, and if they don't sell there, they'll be for sale online.

Very welcome ! Sadly not, I never have the funds for cons. Eternally the starving artist drooling over everyone's work ;w;
Aww dang :c
Holy shit I just looked at your gallery and dude you should be SELLING at conventions! Your stuff is adorable and would sell like hotcakes!
lkjrkjslkgjsflg ;3; GOSH thank you! I'm currently selling online and trying out a few local venues this year, along with :fingers crossed: hopefully getting my own show at the local nature conservation and education center. I've never had much luck with the furry crowd in all honesty!
Nice! Can I ask how long you've been trying? It took me quite a few years and lots of networking/advertising to get....well anywhere really. Cons definitely help though! It's a lot of money up front, but you could make a killing, and you can hand out business cards and make new friends who then turn and buy from you in the future!
I was on FA from 2008 to either 2013 or early this year. Ended up bailing mostly because of the recent shenanigans going on with the site. I definitely need to figure out where to advertise!! And man cons sound like a blast! Where do you usually advertise? Gosh a con sounds tempting ;3; A consistent event to go to on a regular basis sounds like a really great idea !!
Yeah I left too but I ended up having to go back. Not getting enough commissions without it :/
Anyway, you can post on the Weasyl/Deviantart forums. I haven't checked out either of those yet but i know it worked pretty well for the FA forums. FA also had paid adspace. Also having galleries on as many sites as possible doesn't hurt. I've got this, FA, and 2 Tumblrs, which is the perfect amount for me to maintain and also reap the benefits. You could also try SheezyArt, InkBunny, SoFurry, etc.
As for cons, I definitely recommend giving it a shot! See if you can find something in your area. There are a lot of small/medium sized cons in the northeast (FAU in Jersey, and then 2 or 3 different ones in Massachusetts and Connecticut) if you don't want to jump right into something huge like AC. Also, a lot of cons have both a dealer's den and an artist alley. Dealers tables are paid for, while AA tables are free. But, AA tables are usually raffled out, so you're never guaranteed to get one. You could try that if you'd like to give it a shot but don't want to spend all your money on a table (though really they're not that bad. Most artists usually make back their reg/table/hotel price in the first day or so lol).
Gahh yeah I've heard that issue before. You gotta do what you gotta do, especially as an artist haha. Hopefully someone kicks the mods butts into gear and things improve one day.
Awesome, thank you for the advice! I'm definitely going to try and get into the forums around here and dA more, since I've never even thought to try that <xD Advertising is a thing I definitely need to do, so I think this is the summer to start!
I'll definitely keep cons in mind! I have no idea AA tables were done that way, it definitely seems worth the try!
Thank you again for all the advice, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it ;w;
