Once upon a time, I had the notion to make little lamps! This is one of about 5 I ended up making, before my adhd kicked in and I moved on completely from making them XD This is one of the few projects I've done that requires soldering and such. Many jokes about me burning down the house were made. It's still going strong to this day though! I ended up sending the Yoshi egg to my lovely partner, and she uses it to light her room at night! I think what I like about the 3d printed lamps so much is the suprising intensity of colored light they give off. the exposure in this shot is low so you can't really see the light it casts on the floor/walls. I can design them in such a way that they give off the right amount of each colored light depending on what percentage of the lamp shade is made from specified colors! They create a nice vibe in the room they're in. Once again, these are not for sale, but I am open to commissions for things like this. It was fun making it!
