A wonderful little design by JuanPuerto99 over on Newgrounds! (Link!) I saw this and knew from the start, it was GOIN on a pin XD
The initial contrast of the image was a bit strange for my lasers, so I masked the top(Whipped cream) and bottom(Mug) separately and adjusted the contrast and brightness values to get the final engraving result you see there on the right! 

The difference in engraving quality is quite stark. The left one was engraved on a 10W diode laser, while the right was engraved on my precision 3.5W laser. The downside to engraving on the 3.5W laser is that it can't cut like the 10W can! I did the engraving for the right one of the 3.5W before moving the sheet of wood to the 10W laser to cut it. I need to work on aligning the cuts properly especially if I want to do these multi laser projects! 

Anyhow, I'm ecstatic with the quality of engraving on the right hand side, but there's still room to improve!! Thanks JuanPuerto for letting me use your design! One of my first attempts doing pixel art on a laser, and I like it!
