Comment:
Finished this just in time as the deadline is the 27th for this guy~
I'm participating in a local show in October, and was asked to make an entirely new piece of art using something of Public Domain. The show is themed and named Public Domain, and pretty much all media types are open. I figured I would use one of my favorite classical suites, The Carnival of the Animals, as inspiration and as the public domain element that is to be present in the piece.

I did most of the piece traditionally using ink, marker, and pencil and then proceeded to scan it and add in a photo element (the blue eye) and textures that included the actual sheet music. I went a little Lisa Frank with the colors, but honestly I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

Now to get this off to the printers later this week!
